Everyday 40 million people in the US fill-up their vehicles at gas stations. The retail gas industry is over $500 billion dollars. But the world is changing and by 2035 gasoline powered vehicles will be banned in California and other states.
Automotive Industry will stop producing gas-powered vehicles by 2035
Several of the biggest automotive manufacturers including GM, Ford, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Volvo and Nissan have all committed to stopping production of gas-powered vehicles by 2035. This will accelerate the electrification of mobility for the world.
Electric vehicle charging is too slow
Fully charging your electric vehicle at home can take over 12 hours. Almost all of the charging infrastructure out of home is also slow and not convenient. There are not enough Fast Chargers in the world to support the growing amount of electric vehicles.
The world needs 250X more fast charging stations
For the world to electrify transportation it requires an order of magnitude more fast charging infrastructure. We need to build a new network of energy stations that delivers fast and affordable charging at convenient locations all around the world.
